This animation company was founded in 1923 by Walt Disney and his older brother Roy. At first, the two siblings began producing silent short cartoons in their small studio in Los Angeles, United States. The major question was whether the audiences would pay to see almost 90 minutes of animation, with no real human being in sight? With the production cost of a quarter of million, whether the feature movie would break even?
Every stage of Snow White brought up either a new technical or storytelling challenge.

Statistically, Snow White required the work of up to 750 artists, including 32 animators, 25 background artists, 100 assistants. Not mention to the creation of thousands of drawings.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a risk that could have finished Walt Disney Animation Studio as well as the career of Disney. Instead it was the kind of risk that changed cinema and filmmaking forever. Can you imagine its success?
