The Midnight Club
For his earlier horror programs on Netflix, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass, Mike Flanagan has already amassed a considerable fan base. This is one of the Netflix best new movies show originals ever! His most recent work, which is based on Christopher Pike’s writings, depicts the tale of some terminally sick kids who live in a hospice and gather at midnight to share ghost stories.
However, a seemingly ominous and terrifying presence starts to haunt them outside of the stories the children tell one another. The stories are based on other Pike novels, as is the entire series. On October 7th, The Midnight Club will debut.
The School for Good and Evil
The Netflix version of Soman Chainani’s book seems like it will provide lots of magical fun, even though it isn’t strictly Halloween-themed. The story of two friends who are taken away to the school with the same name, where the heroes and villains of numerous fairy tales are educated, is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters). This is one of the Netflix best new movies show originals ever!
The film features an excellent ensemble that includes Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Michelle Yeoh, and Laurence Fishburne in addition to some eye-catching costumes and supernatural abilities. On October 19, The School for Good and Evil makes its debut.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities
This month marks the debut of Guillermo del Toro’s eagerly anticipated anthology series on Netflix, bringing his distinct sense of horror to the streaming service. Each episode’s gruesome story of ghosts, demons and other evil beings is crafted by a different filmmaker.
These contain two stories written by del Toro himself as well as episodes based on tales by horror master H.P. Lovecraft. Heavy names including Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Hardwicke, and Analily Amanpour are among the show’s directors.

Wendell & Wild
This stop-motion animated horror comedy story is the result of the collaboration of director Henry Selick and writer Jordan Peele. Despite the lack of available information, the plot centers on a 13-year-old girl and two troublemaking devils (voiced by Peele and Keegan-Michael Key).
The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline is Selick’s two most well-known films, while Peele’s most recent film, Nope, has recently become a box office success. This is one of the Netflix best new movies show originals ever! The October 28th premiere of Wendell & Wild.
All Quiet on the Western Front
Do you know what frightens me? War. That is why All Quiet on the Western Front, an anti-war novel by Erich Maria Remarque, is still relevant today even though it was first published in 1929. The book has already been made into two motion pictures, one in 1930 and the other in 1979.
Now it’s time for Netflix to tell the compelling tale of a German soldier during the last stages of World War I. All Quiet on the Western Front demonstrates how there are no obvious villains and heroes on the battlefield and how every soldier is imprisoned in the same nightmare scenario by narrating the story from the perspective of a German soldier.
This war drama is highly recommended for those who want to break up with scary films. It will be available on Netflix on October 28th.
